Review Books – Oddly enough all of the books in my haul this week were unsolicited books, except The Waking Engine. Oh and Spritzerville,…Ohio is a indie book written by a goodreads buddy which I will be reading. Which of these others should I definitely read?? PS – I collect dolls, and that is the newest one I recently purchased made by artist Sheri Debow.

Nice haul this week and cute doll! The only titles I recognise is Far from you and don’t look back. Hope you enjoy them.
Happy reading 🙂

I am such a crazy handmade doll collector. This doll is now hanging on my wall behind my computer monitor haha.
They hadn’t hit my radar before this because I’m usually a strictly fantasy and sci-fi reader. I will give them a try.

The Waking Engine was really nice, I liked it. Happy reading!

I’m glad to hear you say that because I have another friend who really didn’t enjoy it. But based on her review I think I would like it more.

Far From You and Don’t look back sound good! 🙂 I’ve also seen a lot of excitement for Dark Metropolis, so I think I would read those books for sure. Enjoy!

Dark Metropolis sounds like a book I could definitely read. The others are not my usual type of book but I’m willing to branch out but they’ll be awhile before I get to them I think if they are outside my normal genre.
Michelle @ Much Loved Books
I recognise two of your books, and I have copies myself waiting to be read. I will have to check out the other books and find out more about them.
Enjoy your books

Yeah this was a very strange motley mix that I received this week! lol Enjoy =)

Looks like a nicely varied haul there, Pabkins!! I really want to read The Here and Now. Something about the cover…it’s luring. XD

I agree the cover is definitely alluring! I’m so excited to read it!
Jessica @ a GREAT read
OOh so envious of Don’t Look Back! Requested a copy from Netgalley in December and they haven’t responded one way or another! I think they’re doing it just to drive me nuts like with White Hot Kiss and the day after it releases officially, they say, sure you can have an ARC! That kind of irritated me, but oh well. Hope you enjoy all your shiny new reads! 🙂
Here’s my STS
Have a GREAT day!

I have had that happen to me before! I got approved for a book on NG the day before the book came out and I’m like really I requested it over two months ago. So odd! I wonder how /why they decide to do it like that.
Jessica @ Rabid Reads
Oh! You got The Waking Engine!! I can’t wait to hear what you think (I think it sounds like pure awesomeness). ALSO–I love the doll 🙂

You should see the rest of my doll collection! My sister also makes handmade one of a kind dolls!
I hope I love The Waking engine, it sounds so out there!

I was thinking about reading the Tad Williams book, but I find myself more enamored with the idea of short story books than actually reading them.

I do love short stories but lately I’ve found that I prefer longer fiction. I used to really enjoy reading collections years ago and I still do. But it takes me longer lately to get through them.
This one arrived unsolicited and the only other Tad Williams book I tried to read I did not enjoy so I DNFd…so I don’t know if I’ll read this one.
Wendy Darling
The Summer of Chills box from Disney is so fun, isn’t it? I’m looking forward to reading the Tess Sharpe book in particular! I look forward to comparing notes with you down the road once we’ve had a chance to read/review.

I didn’t even expect these Summer of Chills books. I had requested only the SFF books from their summer line up because thats what I favor so I was very surprised when these arrive. I’ll definitely give Dark Metropolis a try and see if I can squeeze in the others as well to break outside my comfort zone lol.
