In celebration of my adorable new design I’m giving away a brand spanking new E-Reader to one of my lucky subscribers! There will be one winner for the Grand Prize – which is a choice of a Kindle Paperwhite valued at $119 to a US winner. If you are a US winner and already have an e-reader then you have the option of picking $119 worth of books instead! An International winner would receive their choice of books from The Book Depository up to that amount instead of the e-reader.

      It is freaking awesome isn’t it! Why thats so nice of you to bow out of the running *chuckles* Hell I’m tempted to get myself the newest generation one – but figure I better just cool my jets and wait til mine dies. I still even have my first generation kindle keyboard one!

      I love green its my favorite color. But I do admit I think blue is a more soothing color when reading a book blog. So I’m really happy with the green accents – even happy with the orange in there occasionally as well!

      So glad you like it! I can’t wait to draw more of this little robot guy. I even have photoshop so I’m going to eventually try my hand at digitally illustrating him on my own in the future =)

        Growing up, shades of green were always my favorite, and my mom’s favorites were blues and green. Now I’m just like her and I love the whole yellow-green through purple-ish-blue spectrum! You’re right, I think the blue tempers the green nicely, on a site like this. 🙂

        YAY for acquiring photoshop! If you’re already comfortable with sketching and coloring your drawings in physical media, it feels somewhat natural (or at least, it did for me) to scan in the drawings and color them in photoshop. I can’t wait to see the results! 😀

      Haha – no no I haven’t had this blog for years, though I’ve been blogging for years. I blogged at MSC for the past several years and only recently split off to establish my own space. But most of the content that I had written over there has now been migrated here. =) Glad you found me though *wink*

      I have the paperwhite and I’m seriously in love with it. I bought my dad a nook last xmas and personally I wasn’t as impressed with it but I have a friend who loves her over the kindle she used to have so its all a matter of taste for sure.

      Thanks Chene! Yeah the international folks won’t get a E-reader but books up for their choice up to that amount. I just didn’t want to try to figure out the drama of getting an e-reader for someone when I know they are bound to cost something completely different in each country! LOL

        I have had a few friend requests on fb (lol) and at a mini convention I went to I did meet Jennifer Armintrout and she looked at me and then my name tag and I said… no I’m not the author and she said she new because she was great friends of hers, kinda cool. I hope to meet her someday, I do love her books.
