Huzzah to Book Binging! There is nothing quite as tasty as a good book! If you can’t tell I have a serious book buying and acquiring addiction! Heck, I don’t know a book blogger that doesn’t. If I don’t grab at least as many books as there are number of days in a week I start to go through withdrawals.
So what’s more fun than jumping around and seeing what everyone else has added to their shelves for the week? For that reason I link up two these two lovely ladies:

Books!
I’ve been really good lately by controlling myself on the number of books I’ve requested the past 1-2 months because I knew I would be going to BEA this coming week. With that said – there are only 3 books this week – I know amazing how much self control I have right? One was a gift from my marvelous fellow blogger friend Mogsy @ The Bibliosanctum. Thanks my dear!
Midnight Crossroad by Charlaine Harris | Goodreads | A gift from Mogsy! I can’t wait to read it!
Midnight Thief by Livia Blackburne | Goodreads | – super excited to read this one.
Vampires of Manhattan by Melissa de la Cruz | Goodreads | – This one was a total surprise as I didn’t request it. Hopefully it’s good, I have read 2 or 3 of her various books and have mostly been middle of the road on them so far. But I did hear her Blue Bloods books were the best and this looks to be the first in a new spin off series. So we’ll see.

BEA OR BUST!
So it’s that time of year again when all the folks that are going to be heading to BEA are furiously compiling their spreadsheets that will make up their crazed schedule for the marathon book grab that is BEA. Ok so it’s not only a book grab, its a chance to meet tons of authors, get your books signed, meet lots of awesome fellow bloggers and see what books are being showcased for the rest of the year. I guest posted yesterday over at OH, THE BOOKS! about the types of Book Conventions and how to know which kind is for you.
I was lucky enough to attend last year and had myself a blast (You can read about my trip last year on my BEA 2013 wrap up post). This year I have to admit the excitement hasn’t sunk in yet. Maybe it is because I know what I’m in for but also because this year I’m just tired because of work and stress. I haven’t even had time to put my own plan of attack spreadsheet together. But luckily my lovely ladies Jen from At Random and Anya from On Starships & Dragonwings are helping me out in that arena by sharing some of their book planning with me. I’m also excited to say that I’ll be sharing a hotel room with Anya and Kim from The Midnight Garden.
My apologies if I’m very slow at commenting back this weekend I’m in a wedding today and then I have furious packing to do. Lots of scheduling of posts and then heck I’ll be out of town for a week without access to my PC because I have no laptop currently just an ipad! So if you visit no worries I’ll be in touch – It’ll just take me a few days. In the meantime Maggie and Tina will be around and hopefully visiting about while I’m gone!
Be sure to enter my E-Reader Giveaway!
What books are you binging on this week!?

Knowing your limits when requesting books is never a bad thing. Good luck with the wedding and packing! And no stress about BEA, spreadsheets or no, right? It’s all about fun. 😀

Have a great time at BEA! I would love to go back to New York… a bookish convention would just be the icing on the cake! Or maybe BEA would be the cake and New York would be the icing… I don’t know, both are exciting! Have fun!

I know Vampires of Manhattan wasn’t the book you expected to show up at your door, but ever since we talked about it, I’m actually really really interested in checking it out now! Sounds fun.
And you’re so welcome, thank you for being such an awesome book blogger and friend! Enjoy Midnight Crossroad 😀

Oooh, BEA. *stews in quiet jealousy* Okay, lol!! I hope it’s fun for you and I can’t WAIT to read the post about it!! XD There’s absolutely nothing like that here in Oz, which is kind of annoying. But I think I’d be probably too overwhelmed to go anyway. I really would love to read The Midnight Thief!! It looks fabulous and I was pretty impressed with the novella!

Thanks Ana – it really is going to be full of BEA type posts isn’t it!
I’ll likely do one or two depending on how many pictures I take. Last year I only did one showing all the authors I got photos taken with. This year I’m going to try to get photos with the cool bloggers I meet as well =).

I hope you do decide to to take the plunge and go to one of the book cons. I don’t know if I’ll go to BEA again next year. I may likely be going to RTCon instead.
I am also going to DragonCon this year in Atlanta GA (with Jessica from Rabid Reads) I’m trying to go to at least two book cons a year (or just two big SFF cons in general – at least being one of those book grab type cons so I can fill up on books)
I would SO love to meet you IRL!!

Great book haul this week. I want to try the new Charlaine Harris series. You’ll have to tell us how it is. And I met Livia Blackburne a couple of weeks ago at the Ontario Teen Book Fest and she is awesome. They were selling finished copies of Midnight Thief early so I snagged on.
Have fun at BEA. I have never been but I hear it’s awesome. I want to hear about it all when you get back. 🙂
