Random Doodle
Obviously I’m feeling very into dragons lately.

When I'm in the zone I can flip book pages faster than the eye can see - screaming "More Input!" I'm a book, yarn, & art supply hoarding goblin who loves to draw, make toys and craft all sorts of creepy cute things. My current habit is to listen to audio books while I'm arting it up!

Thanks Mary – they are fun to draw. I’ve been experimenting with different styles of them. I still haven’t really settled into my own “style” that I prefer with my sketches and drawing other then I know that I do lean towards the cartoony simple lines.

Haha – no kidding! what a trick of fate – it worked out perfectly. I have been so slacking lately and haven’t been participating in Tough traveling (or even doing my mailbox posts) because of it being like extra work formatting the posts and I’ve been so freaking lazy and tired and well pregnant and morning sick that I want to get off the PC as soon as possible usually.

Yes I have a toddler – he’ll be 2yo in less then two weeks. I’m not far along like 8 weeks. The worst time being as its primetime morning sickness (more like all freaking day long sickness) time.

Looks great! I really love the way you draw the dragons, so cute. Planesrunner kind of reminds me of Westerfeld’s Leviathan series with the airships and such 🙂

The Leviathan series is actually a pretty good comparison I think. I do think the Everness/Planesrunner books are a bit more substantial on the science side of things but the age range of the characters and tone of the books match up really well. If you enjoyed the one I think you’d enjoy these also.

That dragon is so cute! I want to hug it (although that’d probably enrage it… moving on!). Tabitha, I am so incredibly jealous of your “doodle”. Know what my doodles look like? Scribbles made by a two year old. Ha. I don’t have an artistic bone in my body, but that’s okay cause I can just admire other people’s art. Great drawings, Tabitha! 😉
