That’s a Wrap! – December is over and a New Year is upon us! I’m so excited because hell it’s a whole new page on my book tracking spreadsheet and a brand new batch of books to look forward to! While I won’t be able to make it to BEA this year due to the pregnancy I am definitely planning to attend ALA this summer with one of my blogging besties Anya because lucky for me ALA is in San Francisco this year – which is literally right down the road from me!

Not Yet Read News:
- December was a fabulous month for reading! I think I read about 15 books that month (course there might have been more since technically while I’m writing this post its 12/29 and there are still 2 days left in the month)
- Maggie and Kat took the bulk of November and December off from book reviewing for the holidays but hopefully they’ll both have more reviews for us in January! Gosia gave us two fun reviews and I can’t wait to see what she’s got cooking for her third!
- I’m back to requesting and accepting review books again and I’m making a fabulous dent in my backlogged review books now that my reading funk is finally over!
- I’ll be appearing in a few days over on SF Signal with a list of SFF books I’m anticipating in 2015

About Me Junk:
- Update on the pregnancy! I’m in my 30th week of pregnancy (third and final trimester!) which means I only have 2 and a half more months to go! February can’t come soon enough because that is when I get to start my maternity leave from work, and the baby is due March 12th! I’m feeling so huge and sore and still sickly a lot of the time but I definitely feel so much better these days as compared to a month ago.
- I’ve come to realize that when I’m in full swing with reading that my art making slows way down. As if I can’t seem to be SUPER into both at the same time. I’m working on trying to strike a better balance. The audio books are definitely helping with that. So now even when I am working on an art project I can still be reading!
- Currently reading: THE OVERSIGHT by Charlie Fletcher, GIDEON SMITH AND THE BRASS DRAGON by David Barnett, and RED RISING by Pierce Brown
- Currently planning to watch: Into the Woods (Rachael and I are going to the theater this Saturday to see it!) Also I really want to see the final Hobbit movie! Also a group of my local girlfriends are all planning a girl’s night out to watch the DIRTY DANCING musical. Hopefully the showing we decide on isn’t the late night one since I doubt my biggo preggo self could handle being out that late.
- Currently crafting: a crochet amigurumi toy dragon/doll for my dear friend Rachael!

Happy New Year, Tabitha! I wish you all the best of 2015. The third trimester is the most uncomfortable one for me. Oh do I remember tossing and turning at nights because my babies tend to squeeze my insides. Lol. I hope you’ve given your husband extra tasks, like putting your socks on for you or cutting your toe nails. Lol. I so did that.
You’ve had quite a month! And I’m glad that you’re back on the saddle again. Looking forward to reading more of your spectacular reviews!

You’re always so busy! It’s very impressive.
So close now with your pregnancy. I’m glad you’re starting to feel a little bit better as well. A March baby will be lovely, just in time for Spring.

Ooh, The Darkest Part of the Forest is that good? I haven’t read anything from Holly Black, but her books always catch my interest! I can’t wait to see what you think of Red Rising. I keep hearing wonderful things, so I’m thinking I need to pick it up ASAP. 🙂

Wow, March really isn’t that far away is it? Crazy to think you’ll have a new little human in your family by then. Is your toddler excited to have a sibling? 🙂
I hope you like Into the Woods, I’ve heard it’s pretty good. Anna Kendrick is so charming, and of course Meryl Streep is a goddess.

I know March is so close! Mogsy is due a month before me so hers is even closer. I’m already so ready for this pregnancy to be done. I start maternity leave mid February and that can’t come soon enough.
I enjoyed Into the Woods…would you believe I didn’t know it was a musical!?
