This week’s art

My dad was visiting last month and he said I draw nothing but girls. He is mostly right so I am going to try to include more animals and boys. Hence I drew this couple. Thoughts?

This Week’s Crafty AGGRAVATION!

Art Fails! Sometimes I make things that I am completely unhappy with. Like this thing. I think where I went wrong is with the purple background and it just kept going further wrong from there. Unfortunately it is what it is and I guess I can’t like everything I make.

When I'm in the zone I can flip book pages faster than the eye can see - screaming "More Input!" I'm a book, yarn, & art supply hoarding goblin who loves to draw, make toys and craft all sorts of creepy cute things. My current habit is to listen to audio books while I'm arting it up!

I think you are really good at drawing hair! And the boy having an untied shoe is a good, realistic touch XD I don’t think that bottom one is bad at all. Maybe, like Molly said, a different color blanket, but that stuffed cat is adorable! Should make a little crochet version of it 🙂

Speaking of Art Fails: I attempted to draw an Edward Elric chibi, and it went SO very wrong Ha ha https://mylifemybooksmyescape.wordpress.com/2015/08/16/art-it-up-edward-elric-chibi/

I agree with the others, a different blanket color would work better with the 2nd picture. I like the background color, and it even works with the orange cat-doll. Just not so much that shade of green.

The first picture is adorable! Honestly the first thought that sprang to mind was Haruka and Michiru from Sailor Moon (even though Haruka is a girl! *lol* ). The big eyes and swirly hair have that pretty-boy anime feel to me.

ahhh… I like that one you don’t. It’s so cute the way she’s hiding under the covers, and I love her pig tails 🙂 and the stuffed animal strewn on the bed. Maybe it’s not what you were going for, but I think there’s still things to like in it.

I don’t see your ‘art fail’ as a fail – I think it,s beautiful! But I know how it is when you create something and it doesn’t come out how it should, or how you thought it would! Also, I LOVE your blue-haired girl’s look ♥♥ And I didn’t realize you didn’t draw boys either but well done 😀
